THOMAS GRANT

LAGRANGE -- Thomas Earl "T.E." Grant, 64, of 3652 Windy Ridge Road, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Grant was born in Greene County to the late George Tommy Grant and Annie Bruce Grant. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Modlin Oil Comoany. T.E. had a great love of music and was an avid guitarist.
A graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. from Mewborn Cemetery.
Mr. Grant is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sallie Browder Grant; daughter, Rhonda Stallings and fiancee, Ricky Fields of LaGrange; four stepchildren, Lisa McAllister of South Carolina, Teresa Anne "Mickey" Whaley of Thomasville, Roy Whaley of Goldsboro and Joey Whaley of Kinston; two sisters, Eleanor Brogden and husband, Ed of Goldsboro and Linda Holland and husband, Billy of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren, Christopher Stallings, Tiffany Stallings, Sydney Fields, Alexandra McAllister, Ebbin Whaley, Ethan McAllister and Trevor McAllister.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
