LENA COILE

LAGRANGE -- Lena Jones Coile, 91, of 3502 Eason Road, died Friday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Coile was born in Pitt County to the late Claude and Dorcas Barnes Jones. She was wife of the late Taplie Nixon Coile Sr., and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
She was preceded in death by a son, the Rev. James H. Coile.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. today from Rouse Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Mitchell will officiate. A private burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Coile is survived by two sons, Taplie Nixon "Nick" Coile, Jr. of LaGrange and William Robert "Bob" Coile of LaGrange; a daughter, Betty Jean Hicks of Henderson; a brother, Horace Jones of Kinston; a sister, Virginia Sanderson of Tarboro; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends following the service Sunday and at other times they will be at her home.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
