JOHN A. RISCH
John A. Risch, 72, died Thursday at his second home in Dade City, Fla., under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on December 5, 1933, his permanent residence was in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years; his special son, Allan John Risch; four daughters, April Daily, Amy Beth Risch, Laurel Zucker, Jaime Crews of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Risch was self-employed most of his life, and was mayor of Hampton, N.J. for four years. He owned a printing business for 25 years and a day care for nine.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Shepard of the Hill Lutheran Church, on the corner of Orange Valley Lane and Clinton Avenue, in Dade City. Friends may call at 18051 U.S. Hwy 301 after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 12107 Majestic Boulevard, Hudson, Fla., 34667.
