THURMAN LANGSTON

PRINCETON -- Thurman Wayne Langston, 66, of Lee St., died Tuesday morning at UNC Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Born Sept. 17, 1939, he was the son of the late John Thurman and Lesie Mae Tomlinson Langston. He was the husband of the late Rena Mae Minshew Langston.
A memorial service was held 7 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronnie Massey officiated.
He is survived by three sons, Tony Langston, Robert Langston, both of Princeton, and Andy Langston of Pinetops; one daughter, Susan Langston of Princeton; one brother, Billy Joe Langston of Princeton; three sisters, Faye Sasser, Sherry Langston, both of Princeton, and Ann Yates of Raleigh; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
The family received friends Friday evening at 6 p.m., and immediately following the memorial service.
