ALTON SULLIVAN

PRINCETON -- Alton Glenwood Sullivan, 90, of 5368 Rains Crossroads Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 19, 1915, he was the son of the late Matthew Pharoah and Betty Rains Sullivan, and the husband of the late Jerome Bowen Sullivan.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Fellowship United Methodist Church. The Reverends McGee Creech, Dennis Pollock, and Dempsey Winstead will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Dennis Sullivan of Princeton and Bobby Sullivan of Goldsboro; one daughter, Paulette S. Coley of Pikeville; two brothers, Harold Ray Sullivan of Waynesboro, Va., and Paul Clyde Sullivan of Goldsboro; two sisters, Helen Mae Hines of Chesterfield, Va., and Ollie Grey Adams of Smithfield; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 4 until 6 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
