Senas Woodland Davis, 83, of 4561 U.S. Hwy. 13 North, died Wednesday morning at his home.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Turlington and the Rev. Mike Grady officiating. Interment will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was a native of Wayne County and was the son of the late John Davis and Ella Hill Davis and the widower of Dorothy Hill Davis. He was still farming and he attended Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Davis is survived by one son, Jeffrey Davis of Goldsboro; his special friend, Thelma Womack of Kinston; one brother, Carl Davis of Goldsboro; and one sister, Dorothy Herring of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the service tonight.
