KINSTON -- The funeral for Lillie "Bay" Foye Hightower, 75, sister of Morris Foye of Goldsboro, will be held today at 1 p.m. at United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hightower died Thursday at Kinston Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She retired from Caswell Center in 1985.
In addition to her brother, she is survived by one son Rafael Hightower of Raleigh; four daughters, Brenda Trimble of Boston, Jenise Stewart of Wilson, Sheila Hightower of Kinston and Eleria Trimble of Washington; three sisters, Eunice Foye, Deloris Simmons and Gracie Battle of Kinston; two other brothers, Joseph Foye of Aberdeen and David Foye of Fuquay-Varina; and nine great-grandchildren.
Lane-Anderson Funeral Home is serving the family.
