Essie Horne, 67, of 107 Brogden St., will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Delight Missionary Baptist Church in Walstonburg. The Rev. Ezekiel Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in St. Delight Church Cemetery.
She died on Thursday at her home.
Her survivors include one daughter, Angela Washington of the home; two sons, Ronnie Horne and Douglas Horne Jr.; four brothers, Tommy Ross, Jesse C. Ross, James E. Ross and Willie C. Ross; three sisters, Ernestine Moore, Annie M. Ross and Rachel Lane Suggs; and seven grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries and the family will be there to receive friends during the inspirational wake which will begin at 3 p.m.
