Edward Harold Braswell, 69, formerly of North George St., died Tuesday morning at SunBridge Care of Mount Olive.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mitchell Cemetery in the Rosewood Community.
Mr. Braswell was born in Wayne County to the late Will and Effie Hines Braswell.
He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Lancaster of Coral Springs, Fla.; two sons, Harold Braswell and wife, Phyllis, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Jimmy Braswell of Eureka; the mother of his children, Edna Y. Braswell; one brother, Ralph Braswell and wife, Ruby, of Goldsboro; one sister, Lorraine B. Rago of Wilmington, Del.; four grandchildren, Courtney and Tyler Lancaster and Chris and Andrea Mooring; and three great-grandchildren, Christopher Jr. and Haliegh Mooring and Jacob Webb.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the home of Ralph Braswell, 401 West A St., Goldsboro.
