The funeral for Vivian Best, 54, of 1508 Mimosa St., will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Original Tabernacle of Prayer for All People. Elder Douglas Barnes will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Best died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Best of the home; five sons, Eric Best, Derick Best, Charles Best, Tory Thompson and Faronta Thompson of Goldsboro; two daughters, Sharon Warren and Sherika Best of Goldsboro; nine sisters, Laura Carmichael of Savannah, Ga., Tia Sabrina Bryant of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Helen Thompson, Gloria Cox, Minnie Thompson, Benita Fields, Patricia Wilson, Teresa McKinnon and Kimnetta Coley of Goldsboro; two brothers, James A. Thompson and Anthony Rutley of Goldsboro; and nine grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 8 p.m. today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
