The funeral for Elizabeth Smith Whitfield will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Arthur Evans Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitfield died Saturday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.
She is survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
