Perry A. Hall, 81, died Saturday at his home.
Son of the late D.J. and Pearl Millard Hall, he was a well-known grocery store operator for many year. He was a member of Mount Olive First Presbyterian Church, and was an avid fisherman.
A funeral service will be held 7 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maplewood Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Magdalene Turner Hall; two sons, Jimmy walter (J.W.) Hall and wife, Ann of Mount Olive, and Billy Ray Hall and wife, Phyllis of Raleigh; one daughter, Elaine Hall Pounds and husband, Donnie of Clayton; three brothers, Rodney Hall, Grover Hall, and Bobby Hall of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two sisters, Sudie Holloman Gautier and Elmyrtle Moore Williams; and four brothers, Elbert Hall, W.F. Hall, Gurman Hall, and Charlie Hall.
The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service.
