MOUNT OLIVE -- Elvia Gonzalez-Reyes, 24, of 1183 Grantham School Road, died Sunday at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
She was born in Michoacan, Mexico, to the late Alfonso Gonzales and Oliva Reyes and was married to Armando Garcia.
Funeral services will be held at a later date at the Hunaqueo Panteon Municipal Cemetery in Morelia, Mexico.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother, Gerardo Gonzales of San Bernadino, CA; and two sisters, Marta Hernandex of Chicago, IL and Isabelle Gonzalez of Mebane, NC.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro is serving the family.
