HICKORY -- Anne Cooke Baldree, 95, died Tuesday.
A former resident of New Bern, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Rebecca Ann McDaniel Cooke.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Betty) Heekin; two sisters, Lucille Haskins of Kinston and Geraldine Hagemann of Raleigh; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Gibson officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Bass-Smith Funeral Home.
