KINSTON --A graveside service for Lillian Ellen Johnson, 78, mother of Faye Thomas of Goldsboro, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery. Luby Outlaw will officiate.
Mrs. Johnson died Sunday at her home.
She was the widow of Andy Johnson and the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillian Johnson.
Her survivors include four other daughters, Joyce Griffin of Trenton, Phyllis Thomas of Institute, Margaret Daniels of Deep Run and Doris Johnson of Kinston; one son Roy Johnson of LaGrange; three sisters Pauline King of Pollocksville, Berta Laura Aycock of Kinston and Mildred Willis of Jacksonville; one brother, Howard Johnson of Kinston; and 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, and other times at the residence at 409 Pollock St., Kinston.
