GLENDA S. JONES

Glenda Sedell Jones, 53, of 211 Buck Run Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was born in Bibb County, Ga., on June 20, 1952, to the late Jack Howard Sedell and Lillian DuBose Wood. She was a retired dietitian and was a member of Whitley Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Whitley Church, with the Rev. Ferrell Hardison, the Rev. Andy Stovall and the Rev. Tony Sasser officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs.. Jones is survived by one daughter, April Mitchell, and her husband, Rob, of Goldsboro; four sisters, Gail Vinson and husband, Johnny, of Byron, Ga., Debbie McCord and husband, David, of Forsythe, Ga., Teresa Clark of Centerville, Ga., and Mildred Worley and husband, Bill Jack, of New Bern; two brothers, Jack Sedell Jr. of New Bern and James Wood of Byron, Ga.; her stepfather, J.A. Wood of Byron, Ga.; her grandchildren, Darryl Mitchell, Brooke Mitchell and Austin Mitchell; and her special babies, Riley Howell, Kennedi Howell, Irena Rice, Tyler Viverette, Haley Raybon and Sydni Simpson.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Pridgen Jr.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Ranger Program at Whitley Church, 188 Whitley Church Road, Princeton, N.C., 27569.
