ARNOLD JACKSON

MOUNT OLIVE -- Arnold Lee Jackson, 80, of 381 Rones Chapel Road, died Sunday morning at his home.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Lupton and the Rev. Clark Barfield officiating. Visitation will follow the funeral service, and at other times the family will be at the residence in the Rones Chapel community. The committal service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was the son of the late Albert Ray and Mary Ruth Hinson Jackson and brother of the late Robert Earl "Hooty" Jackson and Dora Mae Jackson Williams.
He and his wife, the late Dorothy Grantham Jackson, were the owners and operators of A. L. Jackson Grocery Store in the Rones Chapel community near Mount Olive. After their retirement, he assisted his sons with their businesses, Jackson Auto Brokers and Jackson Auto Mart. He was a member of Rones Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Neil and Connie Jackson, and Danny and Meg Jackson, and three grandchildren, Lee Jackson, Chris Jackson, and Courtney Jackson, all of Mount Olive, and his care-givers, Lois Pitts and Thelma Miles.
