Died Sept. 15, 2005
Rutha Lee Gills, of 705 E. Walnut St., died Thursday.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony Lee Gills of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Danny Ray Gills of Goldsboro; three daughters, Bettie Suggs (Russell), Mary Jean Gregory of Goldsboro and LeeAnn Lofton (Hamlet) of Goldsboro; one brother, Eddie Gills of Goldsboro; one foster granddaughter, Katrina Ashford of Goldsboro; and nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Lindell Revival Center in Pikeville. Pastor Shirley Hawkins will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 9 today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
