Mary Alice Herring, 52, of 609 Bizzell Court died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at noon in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home. Apostle D.L. McIntyre will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Herring is survived by her husband, Willie "Nick" Herring of the home; two daughters, Tory Pitt of Goldsboro and Vivian Jackson of the home; five sons, Eric Herring, Antron Herring, Willie Herring Jr., Emanuwell Herring all of Massachusetts and Elijah Jackson of the home; one stepson, Ronzie Butler of Massachusetts; her stepmother, Bernice Knight; four brothers, Willie Knight of Detroit, Mich., Jimmy Knight and Reggie Knight of Miami, Fla., and Ronnie Sherman of Macon, Ga.; four sisters, Earline Davison and Willamena Porter of Alabama, Jackie Lemons of Macon, Ga., and Sabrina Dandridge of Marietta, Ga.; and 17 grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 6 p.m. today at McIntyre Funeral Home.
