Kay Frances Coley-McLeod, 50, died Tuesday evening at the Hospice of the Meadow-lands in Hillsborough.
A homegoing service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Darden Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. McLeod was born in Wayne County on January 30, 1955, to the late James William Coley and Annie Louise Hinnant Coley. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School in New York, and later attended Hosto's Community College. She was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Atlas McLeod; two sisters, Ann Marie Coley of Four Oaks and Coleen Coley of Goldsboro; and her godmother.
Visitation will be held today from 4 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will be present to receive friends from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m.
