James Franklin Price Jr, 78 of 128 Ruby Road, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Garner Funeral Home in Kinston. The Rev. Jimmy Mercer and the Rev. Joshua Price will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Shirley Mercer Price of the home; one daughter, Shirley Dean Lineberry of Goldsboro; four sons, James Franklin Price III of High Point, Ronnie Earl Price of Gresham, Ore., Timothy Roland Price of Thomasville, and Russell Patrick Price of Goldsboro; three sisters, Grace Sutton of Hookerton, Edna Sugg of Belhaven and Dorothy Harper of Grifton; three brothers, William Price of Wilmington, Alton Price of Baltimore, Md., and Del Price of Thomasville; and 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home, and other times at the residence.
