Timothy Marshall Rush, 66, of 4551 U.S. Hwy. 70 E., died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mr. Rush was born in Phippsburg, Maine, on April 4, 1939, to the late Robert and Beatrice Humphrey Rush. He had worked with Lane Construction for 27 years before he began his work with Keen Plumbing. Mr. Rush was a member of Goldsboro Masonic Lodge #634 A.F. & A.M.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Seymour Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Rush is survived by his wife, Sharon Staples Rush; his daughters, Timette Middelkoop and husband, Roland, of Oneonta, N.Y., and Tammy Rush of Raleigh; his sons, Robert Rush of Raleigh and Michael Rush and wife, Angela, of Greensboro; his sisters, Christine Sherman of Bucksport, Maine, and Sandi Keiser of Belgrade Lakes, Maine; and six grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam, Kimberly, Hailey, Marika and Peter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Saturday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
