HULA CHERRY

Hula Sherrod Exum Cherry, 85, of Goldsboro, died Thursday at the home of her sister, in Stantonsburg.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. today at L.N. Forbes O.F.W.B. Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street Extention in Wilson. The Rev. J.C. Sherrod will preside and Elder Percell Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sherrod Family Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Gloria Exum of New York, N.Y.; a son, Billy Exum of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a sister, Blanche S. Horne of Stantonsburg; two brothers, the Rev. Johnnie C. Sherrod of Fremont, and Herbert D. Sherrod of Stantonsburg; and a grandson, Howard Exum of New York, N.Y.
