HOPE MILLS -- David Louis Person Sr., 81, of 858 Myrtle Drive, died Wednesday at his home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Breezewood Church of God of Prophecy on Legion Road.
Mr. Person retired as a sign painter with the Coca-Cola Company.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Rhodes Person; one son, David Louis Person Jr.; a sister, Grace Mitchell; five brothers, Eugene, Bill, Larry, Thomas and Jack Person; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Breezewood Church of God of Prophecy.
Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home is serving the family.
