MICHAEL HARRIS
Michael Lee Jerrell Harris, 2-month old infant son of Samantha J. Knox and Kelvin Harris, died Friday in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Road Church of Christ. The Rev. Robert Goff will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Octavia Harris and Shawntia Stevens; two brothers, Jonathan Anderson and Kelvin Garrett; paternal grandmother, Brenda Harris of New York, N.Y.; maternal grandparents, Sherry Roy of Richland, and Billy Knox of Goldsboro; paternal great-grandmother Sudie Perry of Kinston; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Tyndall of Fremont, and Ann Bennett of Goldsboro; maternal great-great-grandmother, Lila M. Murray of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 8 at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St.
