MIKE SPENCE
Gerald Michael "Mike" Spence, 43, of 2201 Royall Ave., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Spence was a native of Wayne County and was the son of Ruth Deans Spence of Goldsboro and the late Wilbert B. Spence.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Shirley Spence Prosser of Goldsboro; a brother Will Spence and wife, Lynn, of St. Augustine, Florida; a niece, Sonja DeBois; a nephew, Robert Blackman and a great nephew, Jordan Blackman.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Spence Moore.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
