BILLIE PROVOST
Billie June Brown Provost, 75, died at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.
A funeral service will be held this evening at 7 from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The Reverends Virgil B. Huffman and Billy Olsen will officiate. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Provost was born in Danville, Va., on July 29, 1929 to the late Everette and Geneva Bray Brown. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Provost Bloodsworth and husband, Robert Jr., of Goldsboro; one brother, Bobby Lee Brown of Winston Salem; two grandchildren, Cameron Dale Bloodsworth and Joshua Bryan Bloodsworth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Clinton Provost.
The family will receive friends following the service at Howell Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Lynn Provost Bloodsworth, 150 Pate Circle, in the Rosewood Community.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Forest United Methodist Church, 867 N.C. 581 Highway S., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
