BETTY O. STEPHENSON
Betty Osburn Stephenson, 78, died today at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Joplin, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Ruth Carnahan Osburn, and was married to the late Raymond D. Stephenson. Mrs. Stephenson was a homemaker.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Leonard Downes officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Norma Stephenson of Goldsboro; her son, Brian Stephenson of Goldsboro; her granddaughters, Casey Rhea Stephenson, Amy Kearney and husband, Bryan, Samantha Nunn Dunleavey and husband, Pat, and Emily Beth Hinnant and husband, Jesse Carl; her grandsons, Brian Taylor Stephenson and Billy Ray Nunn Jr. and wife, Jaime; and her great-grandchildren, Bryan Kearney Jr., Holly Ann Kearney, Madison Abigail Kearney, Ashyln Elizabeth Reibe, Zachary Cade Reibe, Baily Lorraine Dunleavey, and Donovan Granger.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12 until 1:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Samantha and Patrick Dunleavey, 553 Nahunta Road, Pikeville.
