ELIZABETH HOLMES
The funeral for Elizabeth Holmes, 81, of 702 Robinson Place, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Arthur Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She died Thursday, Feb. 17, at her home.
She is survived by a daughter, Dr. Catherine H. Turk of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two sons, Johnny Holmes of Goldsboro and Dr. Arthur Anderson of Decatur, Ga.; one sister, Louvenia Rhodes of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 9 p.m. Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro and the family will be present to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m.
