MARGIE M. KING
Margie Miller King, 86, of 886 Emmett Jackson Road, Mount Olive, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. R. King; her parents, Hezzie and Lola Hargrove Miller; two sisters, Louise Hunter and Beulah Blackburn; and three brothers, Lloyd Miller, Coy Miller and Homer Miller. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Faison United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Ray "Tommy" King and wife Faye of Mount Olive; three daughters, Judy K. Johnson and husband Burton of Four Oaks, Linda K. Carter and husband Vinson of Mount Olive, and Betty K. Obremski and husband Ron of Raleigh; a special family friend, Karen Price of Mount Olive; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Parson will officiate. Burial will be in Faison Cemetery in Faison.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m., and at the residence at other times.
