ESTELLE WARREN
GREENVILLE -- Estelle Creech Warren, 83, formerly of Newton Grove, died peacefully at her home in Greenville on Thursday, February 10, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Blake Warren, and an infant daughter, Betty Whitfield Warren.
Estelle lived her life in selfless dedication to her family, friends, and always helping others who were in need. Possessing a rare grace, Estelle never lost her faith, her dignity, or her love of life.
She is survived by a daughter, Laura, and husband, Buck Wheeler of Chesapeake, Va.; three sons, Bruce Warren of Faison, George and wife, Joyce Warren of Newton Grove, Gerald and wife, Brenda Warren of Newton Grove.
She was blessed with five grandchildren, Brian and Carrol Warren of Newton Grove, Brandon and Amanda Warren of Newton Grove, Lindsey Warren of Wilmington, Bartley Warren of Newton Grove, and Emily Foran of Wilmington.
The family received friends at West and Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove Saturday evening from 6 until 8. They will receive friends other times at the homes of George, Gerald, and Bruce.
A service honoring Estelle's life will be held today at 2 p.m. at Saint Paul Free Will Baptist Church, 701 Hwy. S., Newton Grove. The burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove. Dr. Michael Pelt will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Saint Paul F.W.B. Church, P.O. Box 64, Newton Grove, N.C., 28366, or a charity of one's choice.
