ROBERT EDGERTON
KENLY -- Robert Franklin Edgerton, 64, of Princeton-Kenly Road, died Saturday at his home.
Born in Wayne County on May 29, 1940, he was the son of Amy Beamon Edgerton of Goldsboro, and the late Windal F. Edgerton. He owned and operated Edgerton Hearing Aid Service in Wilson for 30 years and was a member and a Past Master of Kenly Masonic Lodge.
The funeral was held Sunday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The Rev. Dennis Pollock officiated. A graveside service with Masonic Rites was conducted today at 11 a.m. at Princeton Cemetery in Princeton.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Margaret Mozingo Edgerton of Kenly; two sons, Frank Edgerton and wife, Annette, of Clayton, Phillip Edgerton and wife, Paige, of Clayton; one sister, Jeanetta Radford of Goldsboro; two grandsons, Joshua and Nicholas Edgerton, both of Clayton.
The family will received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
