ROBERT FRANKLIN EDGERTON
KENLY -- Robert Franklin Edgerton, 64, of Princeton-Kenly Road, died early Saturday morning at his home.
Born in Wayne County on May 29, 1940, he was the son of Amy Beamon Edgerton of Goldsboro, and the late Windal F. Edgerton. Robert owned and operated Edgerated Edgerton Hearing Aid Service in Wilson for thirty years. He was a member and a Past Master of Kenly Masonic Lodge.
A funeral service will be held this evening at 7 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The Rev. Dennis Pollock will officiate. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be conducted Monday morning at 11 at Princeton Cemetery in Princeton.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Margaret Mozingo Edgerton of Kenly; two sons, Frank Edgerton and wife, Annette of Clayton, Phillip Edgerton and wife, Paige of Clayton; one sister, Jeanetta Radford of Goldsboro; two grandsons, Joshua and Nicholas Edgerton, both of Clayton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 until 7.
