MARVIN TURNER
Marvin Kendall Turner, 68, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Garner Funeral Home in Kinston. The Reverends Norman Boyette, Arnold Ball and Andy Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Turner was employed at Oliver Glass and was a lifelong resident of Caswell Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Turner, his sister, Rachel Green and his brother, Phillip Turner.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Turner Dunn of Pink Hill, his sisters, Mary Magdalene Miller of Mount Olive, Lou Turner Smith of Seven Springs, four nieces, Debbie Parker Alphin of Kinston, Judy Parker Howell of Pikeville, Sue Parker Price of Seven Springs, and Amy Smith Britt of LaGrange, a nephew, Larry Clifton Parker of Raleigh and other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Tuesday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home of Sue Price, 282 Van Smith Road, Seven Springs.
Memorials may be made to the family.
