MARGIE MOZINGO
LA GRANGE — Margie Bryan Mozingo, 68, of 780 Piney Grove Road, died Friday, January 28, 2005, at her home.
Margie was born in Wayne County to the late Herbert and Fannie Harrell Bryan. Margie was a member of Garris Chapel United Methodist Church and worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant with Eastern Homecare. When at home, Margie enjoyed spending time in her yard, flower gardening and bird watching.
Margie was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Mozingo Measley; and three brothers, J.W. Bryan, Phillip Bryan and Lindell Bryan.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 31, 2005 at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home, with the Reverend’s Jerry Mitchell and McGee Creech officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Margie is survived by her husband of fifty one years, Norwood Mozingo; three daughters, Karen Garris and husband, Jeff of Goldsboro, Barbara Coor and husband, Doug of Goldsboro, Norma Sherman and husband, Tom of La Grange; two sisters, Aleise Edwards of Clayton and Violet Herring of Wilmington; three brothers, Cecil Bryan, Luby Bryan and Shelton Bryan, all of Goldsboro; six grandchildren, Hayley Garris, Robert Garris, Emily Sherman, Joey Coor, Casey Coor and Matthew Measley.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times they will be at the home.
