PRESTON R. RADFORD
SNOW HILL -- Preston Rogers Radford, 75, a retired farmer, died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with the Rev. Todd Sutton and Rev. Chuck Owens officiating. Interment will be in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Radford was a native of Greene County and was the son of the late Herman E. and Cora Ham Radford. He was a lifelong member of Harrell's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church ,where he had served as a Deacon for many years and had taught the Adult Sunday School Class for more than 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Carr Wiggins Radford, and is survived by two daughters Becky Radford Sutton, and her husband, Bill, and Ginger Radford Leggett and her husband, Curtis, all of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Todd Sutton and wife, Selena, Brandon Sutton, Brittany Leggett and Christopher Leggett all of Snow Hill; great-granddaughter, Laurie Rogers Sutton; sisters, Addie R. Lovett and Betty Lou R. Parks of Snow Hill, Dixie R. Murphy of Albertson and Lois R. Hill of Goldsboro; and brothers, Bruce Radford and Albert Radford of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Home, and other times at the residence, 788 Burrellfield Road, Snow Hill.
