HUBERT DAUGHTRY
Hubert Lee Daughtry, 71, of 105 Thunderswamp Road, died Wednesday at his home.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mr. Daughtry was a native of Johnston County. He retired from the United States Air Force as a supply specialist.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Capps of Smithfield; one son, Dean Daughtry of Goldsboro; one daughter, Vicki Kidd of Mount Olive; one sister, Doris Marcom of Wilson Mills; two grandchildren; and his former wife and friend, Dorothy Person of Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the memorial service on Friday.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5970 Fairview Road, #1 Fairview Plaza, Suite 408, Charlotte, N.C., 28210.
