SNOW HILL -- Bruce Johnson, 85, died Wednesday at Britthaven Nursing Home in Snow Hill.
The funeral will be held Friday night at 7 in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with the Reverend Ronnie Heath officiating.
Mr. Johnson was a retired farmer and a member of the Snow Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Chase Johnson of Snow Hill; one daughter, Doris J. Lewis of Fremont; three sons, Wayne Johnson of Snow Hill, Ricky Johnson of Colonial Heights, Va., and Donnie Johnson of Snow Hill; three sisters, Eva Bass of Wilson, Blanche Head of Virginia, Tiny Ham of Goldsboro and Evelyn Chase of Snow Hill; two brothers, Cornelius Johnson of Snow Hill and Hugh Johnson of Kenly; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service following the funeral on Friday night, and other times at the home of Wayne Johnson, 1516 Hwy. 903 South, Snow Hill.
