PROVELLA ATKINSON
Provella "Ella Whitley" Atkinson, 97, of 4240 Massey Holt Road, Princeton, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Cedar Grove Disciples Church, 107 Longleaf Road, Princeton. Elder Ronald Parks will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Atkinson was a native of Johnston County and was the daughter of the late Luby Atkinson and Henrietta Whitley Atkinson.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
The viewing will be from 3 until 6 p.m. today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Goldsboro. An inspirational wake will be held tonight from 7 until 9 at Cedar Grove Church in Princeton.
