LOLA JINNETTE
Lola Stallings Jinnette, 95, a native of Wayne County, died Saturday at Windsong Village in Pearland, Texas.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Harvin officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mrs. Jinnette was the daughter of the late L.K. Stallings and Mattie Snipes Stallings and the widow of Claude Raymond Jinnette. She was a charter member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Jinnette Davis, and her husband, David, of Friendswood, Texas; a sister-in-law, Ruby N. Stallings of Goldsboro; one grandson, David E. Davis Jr., and his wife, Carla, of Friendswood, Texas; one granddaughter, Susan Davis West, and her husband, Mark, of Pearland, Texas; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel S. Loftin and Ruth Stevens; and two brothers, Kennon Stallings and L.K. Stallings Jr.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour prior to the funeral on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1608 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
