ROELLA BINGHAM
Roella McKinzie Bingham, 64, of 903 Franklin St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Clevon McKinzie Sr. and Cora Taylor McKinzie.
A worship service to celebrate her life will be held Friday (today) at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Joe Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bingham is survived by her husband, William Bingham of the home; four children, Dellwood Washington, Lyneil Washington, Amira Lazette Bingham Days and Corvell LaShawn Bingham, all of Goldsboro; 17 grandchildren, Ja´Marria Stringfield, Ja´Quez Stringfield Bingham, Ja´Vell Stringfield Bingham, Airoshaun Washington, Lashawntae Washington, Tykwan Days, Delnisha Washington, Delantea Wash-ington, Acquashante Atkin-son, Shameka Coley, Quashita Washington, Shalona Rod-gers, Shania Hardy, Meneil Washington, Lyneil Washing-ton, Donnovan Royall and Christopher Willis; four sisters, Willa Taylor of Goldsboro and Mary Geter, Dorothy McKinzie and Daisy Hill of Philadelphia, Pa.; three brothers, Charles McKinzie (Jone) of Philadelphia, Pa., Johnny McKinzie (Lucy) of Augusta, Ga., and Jimmy McKinzie (Ruby) of Goldsboro; three aunts; three uncles; two daughters-in-law, Bonita Atkinson and Belinda Price; two goddaughters, Serita Stigger and Qwantego Thompson; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The viewing hours were from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday at Rhodes Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
