LOUISE CAPPS
Annie Louise Daniels Capps, 76, of 7002 Comet Drive, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fishman and Dr. Jerry Kinlaw will officiate. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Capps was born in Duplin County to the late Luther and Annie Lewis Daniels. She was very active with the Goldsboro Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, having served twice as president, and was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jessie J. Capps of Goldsboro; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sally C. and Woody Stevens of Grantham, Pat C. and Mac Taylor of Hookerton and Peggy C. and Reynold Jernigan of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Carol H. and David Kelsey of American Fork, Utah, Tammy B. and Bennie Oakes of Hookerton, Wendy J. and Daniel Fields of Lumberton, Lisa Jernigan of Lumberton, James Stevens of Grantham; great-grandchildren, Renee, Samuel, Nathan and Talea Kelsey of American Fork, Utah; a special stepmother, Pauline Daniels Wiggins of Dudley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick and Gail Daniels and L.J. and Thelma Daniels of Dudley; and loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight, and other times at the residence.
Flowers are welcome, however the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity or church of one's choice.
