ROSE HILL -- Alberta H. Shepard, 61, of 133 Spencer Merritt Road, died Sunday at Glencare Nursing Home.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., from the First Baptist Rose Hill. The Rev. W.K. Raynor will officiate. Burial will follow at the Duplin Memorial Gardens, in Teachey.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Shepard of Rose Hill; one brother, Willie Smith of Zebulon; and one sister, Barbara Lassiter of Goldsboro.
A visitation of family and friends will be held Wednesday evening from 6 until 7 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
