RUDY JONES
Rudy Xerxes Jones, 51, of 230 Mount Carmel Church Road died Friday at his residence.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Edna Lewis Jones of Pikeville and the late John X. Jones.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ed Tatum and Gene Turner officiating. Internment will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Aaron Jones; one brother, Jack Jones and wife, Jeanne of Dudley; two sisters, Connie Myers and husband, Gerald of Pikeville and Lynn Langley and husband, Jerry of Pikeville; niece, Shannon Booth of Pikeville; three nephews, Curt Myers and Matthew Langley of Pikeville, and Brandon Jones of Dudley.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
