ESTELLE NEWSOME
Estelle Smith Newsome, 86, formerly of Fremont, died Thursday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hooks Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pikeville. The Rev. Johnnie Sherrod will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Newsome is survived by two daughters, Fannie Newsome of Fayetteville and Rosie M. Fuller of Fremont; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 9 p.m. on Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at the home of Nona Fuller, 801 S. Vance St., Fremont.
