LOUIS ARTIS JR.
Louis Artis Jr. of Newark, N.J., formerly of Goldsboro, died last Friday at Irvington General Hospital.
The funeral will be held this Friday at Greater Holy Tabernacle Church in Elizabeth, N.J.
Mr. Artis was the son of the late Louis Artis Sr. and Sally Mae Artis. He was a 1959 graduate of Central High School and was an active member of Central Alumni & Friends Inc.
His survivors include his wife, Doris Ann Artis, nine children, and 18 grandchildren, all of New Jersey.
