RALPH ANDRADE
SMITHFIELD -- Ralph Warren Andrade, 87, died Monday at Britthaven of Smithfield.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Selma Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Sandy Schaller will officiate.
Mr. Andrade was the son of the late Ralph Henry and Jane Amelia Higgs Andrade and was the widower of Florence Muszak Andrade. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Capps Locklear of Kill Devil Hills and Peggy Andrade Casey of Smithfield; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the residence at 888 Old Sanders Road, Smithfield.
Casey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
