HENRY M. WADE JR.
LAGRANGE -- Henry Mark Wade Jr., 67, 2867 Fred Everette Rd., passed away Wednesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Doug White officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
He was a retired truck driver with McLean Trucking Co. and East Carolina Trailer Rentals. He was also a union member with McLean Trucking Co., the American Quarter Horse Association and the National Barrel Horse Association.
He is survived by two daughters, Virginia Wade Gray and husband, Lee Gray, and Jacqueline "Jackie" Wade and husband, James Tyndall of LaGrange; a son, David Wade of Tennessee; four sisters, Hilda Lewis of Virginia, Shirley Thompson of Cove City, Marie Clayborne of Kinston and Barbara Taylor of Ormondsville; five brothers, Sherman Wade of Texas, Bobby Wade, Charles Wade and Douglas Wade of Kinston and Rufus Wade of Moss Hill; two grandchildren, Jeremy McLawhorn and Ryan Tyndall of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday at his home and Saturday at Howard-Carter Funeral Home Chapel from noon to 2 p.m.
