BUCK CULBRETH
DUDLEY -- Harvey Benjamin "Buck" Culbreth, 45, of 499-B Old Mount Olive Highway, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia with the Rev. Kenneth Wilson officiating.
Mr. Culbreth had served in the United States Navy and was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his mother, Adell Dixon Culbreth of Grantham; three sons, Buck Culbreth and wife, Beth, of Goldsboro, Bill Culbreth of the home, and Jay Culbreth of Dudley; two daughters, Miranda Powell of Goldsboro and Alexis Turnage of Grantham; five sisters, Sandra Kay Malone of Louisburg, Kathy Wallace of Surf City, Elaine Maxwell of Goldsboro, Ginger Culbreth of Surf City, and Billie Worley of Grantham; and three grandsons, Shawn, John, and Daniel.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Culbreth, and his father, William Grey Culbreth.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive tonight from 7 until 9, and other times at the home of Billie Worley, 1710 Dobbersville Road, in the Grantham community.
