MILDRED WILLIAMS
Mildred Irene Williams, 61, of 307 Beale St., died Sunday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Delight United Holy Church. Bishop Samuel Clemons will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was the daughter of Bertha Lewis Jackson of Goldsboro and the late Leamon Jackson. She graduated from Central Heights High School in 1960 and received an associate's degree from Wayne Community College. She worked in the computer lab at Tommy's Road Elementary School.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, the Rev. Henry V. Williams of the home; three sons, John M. Jackson of Parkstown, Averil V. Williams of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Jessie Duley of Charlotte; three brothers, John L. Jackson Jr. and Leslie Jackson of Parkstown and Edwardo Jackson of Upper Marlboro, Md.; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 9 p.m. on Thursday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
